Early Green Glass Vase Tree Trunk or Vine

This vase has been perplexing me for months! It remains unidentified, but has the look of US Glass or Delaware Glass, from the late 1800's. The deep green with the intricate detail and gold trim are all indicative of the time, as is the natural subject matter. One of the most unusual things about this piece is that the sole seam in the glass is around the rim. This is a treasure, and I believe a glass collector will be thrilled to have this in their collection. The vase measures 6 1/2" tall at the highest scallop point, and is 3 1/4" diameter at the top. It is 3 1/2" diameter at the bottom. This vase is in remarkable condition for it's age, with a small spot of wear on the base, and small cloudy areas (less than 1/2") on the inside rim from use.
