I. E. & C. Co. Japan Handpainted Bowl Nippon Era

This bowl is a gorgeous, turn of the century piece of Japanese pottery. It was made by the I.E. & C. Company circa 1900. This overlaps the Nippon Era, but this piece is not Nippon, since it is marked "Japan". This piece is handpainted, with small roses and raised dots on the rim. There are painted roses on the inside and the outside of the bowl. The fourth photo is of one of the roses on the outside of the bowl. This piece is truly one of a kind, and is in excellent condition. There are minor areas of wear on the rim, but there are no chips, no cracks and no crazing.
