Niloak Pottery Ewer or Vase

Niloak Pottery from Benton, Arkansas made some wonderful quality American pottery. The company was in operation during the early part of the 20th century and in that time made some iconic pieces. This ewer is a very solid piece and one of their earlier pieces. It is glazed with their "dawn" dead glaze, but this piece is unusual with the amount of green used in the overspray. This Niloak ewer measures 7" tall and 4" diameter at the widest part of the base. This piece is in great vintage condition with no cracks, chips or crazing. There are some lines through the glaze as can be seen in my photos, but this is a factory defect and not damage from use.
